UX Testing

In order to review if a software product is suitable and understandable for end-users, Spiral World performs usability testing. As usability features are rather subjective, we base our testing on specifics of the target industry and users, analysis of competitors’ solutions presented on market, and own experience of testing product usability.

In order to provide positive user interaction with the software, we follow the universal principles while checking different system parameters, e.g., user interface (UI), layout, navigation logic, operation speed, system flow, content peculiarities, etc. Usability testing is aimed to check whether the solution is user-friendly or not.

Usability tests assist in detecting severe bugs and issues before the product release. Also, they are universal - written cases can be easily modified for functional, unit, or system testing. Besides, the procedure of usability testing requires not so much time and expenses.

How we Test

With the purpose of verify whether the ready solution assures user expectations, we apply two approaches for usability testing: qualitative - to detect major issues on the basis of product nature, and quantitative - to check the consequences of changes and product redesign.

Directing ease of UX testing, we break down various item qualities from the viewpoint of the two tenderfoots and experienced clients as per the created agendas. To give our clients target estimation of item ease of use, we assess simplicity of learning, item effectiveness, system precision, and disappointment rate.

With a demo or paper model given by the client, we perform ease of use testing applying research facility techniques. Utilizing quantitative information, we direct tests in a controlled counterfeit condition made by arranged situations. All client exercises and reactions mimicked by analyzers are recorded. In any case, the lab procedure is somewhat costly and tedious.

By social affair and breaking down the client involvement in genuine conditions, we perform convenience tests nearby and analyze client working condition. On location, perceptions give target assessment of system ease of use requiring fewer costs.
